Thanks so much to Haley Scott @birdingw.hales for leading today’s Community Bird Walk! We went to different locations along Shinnecock Bay near the reservation to learn bird-watching basics and Algonquian words for birds. We saw over a dozen species on Shinnecock territory, including a Bald Eagle!
