Leather Belt Workshop with Denise Silva-Dennis

Please join us this Friday, September 15th, from 6 – 8 pm at Ma’s House for a free & open public Strap Leather Designing and Measuring Workshop led by Shinnecock artist Denise Silva-Dennis.

We will design and measure on a mock-up paper to prepare for a strap leather belt. Before ordering the thick 7 to 8-ounce weight leather, everyone’s waists will be calculated for a custom fit.

**If you are in the process or have completed a Bandolier Bag from previous workshops, your designs for the belt may complement your bag designs to complete the look. If you choose, you may bring your own shells with holes in them and any other meaningful attachment to add to your Strap Leather Belt since we will not be using seed beads.
