Exhibitions at Ma's House
The Ma’s House gallery is led by Director of Curation, Brianna L. Hernández and features six-to-eight-week long exhibitions averaging seven shows throughout the year. Exhibitions range from solo-exhibiting visual artists and multidisciplinary group shows, to traveling educational shows such as our recent exhibition on the Thomas Indian School which was guest curated by the Seneca Nation.
Programming accompanies each exhibition including opening receptions, artist talks, and educational workshops related to the concepts.
Ma’s House also participates in events hosted by local partners through sister exhibitions hosted by the Long Island Children’s Museum, Preservation Long Island, and the Old Stone House in Brooklyn.
Visiting the gallery is by appointment or during public events.
