Join us on Zoom for a progress tour of Ma’s house on MARCH 26 @ 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM

ABOUT THIS EVENT

Jeremy Dennis, a contemporary fine art photographer and a tribal member of the Shinnecock Indian Nation, provides a restoration in-progress tour of Ma’s House, an old family home on the Shinnecock Indian Reservation in Southampton, NY, while discussing his indigenous art exhibits with Preservation Long Island and the Cold Spring Harbor Whaling Museum.

Jeremy’s grandmother, Loretta Silva, also known as Princess Silva Arrow of the Shinnecock Indian Nation, was affectionately called “Ma” by her children and grandchildren. Ma had always wanted her house to be an educational museum space, a safe haven for all, and a place where arts and culture bring people together.
