Time Cloud (Wisps) by Yanyan Huang

Yanyan Huang is a multicultural artist based between New York, Italy, and China, who incorporates elements from far-reaching and contrasting eras of time and influences. Having lived in different countries from childhood to the present, she has always embodied different sets of conflicting identities that undergo daily negotiations of habits and rituals. During her August 2021 residency at Ma’s House, Huang researched and was influenced by Shinnecock land conflicts while creating her visual art.
